Stopped in for a spot of lunch before exploring the nearby nature reserve. A lovely setting, fish finger sandwiches were great. Owners were really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area. Freddie and Figaro the kittens and Isabelle the Chow Chow made our visit even better. We will definitely be back if we’re in the area again

A magical place that is off the beaten track. The owners were so accommodating and helpful, and we ordered a traditional Cornish Cream tea in the garden, and it doesn't get much better than that. The huge scones were hand baked from the oven and piping hot. Jam and clotted cream were plentiful. We accompanied our scones with English breakfast tea. It's probably the largest scone I have ever had. But it was delicious and light... just make sure you go there hungry. A very pleasant afternoon's diversion. Parking is just north or south of the location. Accessibility may be a challenge for ability impaired, but there is a drop-offf point at the entrance.

Lovely polite couple, very welcoming helpful. Food good apart from I asked for runny eggs and still got hard ones, a little thing really, rest of food nice, needed more milk for hot drinks too :) Steps up to tables a bit scary, not suitable for the older generation, wooden, and need upgrading.

Lovely experience. Very cute setting. The weather tried to ruin it but failed The only negative is that the covered seating is ok for the sun but when hammering it down you will get wet. Take waterproof well worth it

Lovely little cottage that gives Alice in Wonderland vibes! This place is a nice hidden gem, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature so it’s peace and quiet! The owner is very friendly and greeted us at the door as me and my partner were a little bit lost to start. We sat down and ordered delicious food (as seen in the picture - Aubergine & Avocado Flatbread) and a lovely warm tea The price is quite affordable compared to other local cafes. Will definitely be coming back to try out the variety of cakes that the menu has to offer!
